I was initially very excited to read this book. It had all the makings of a book that I would enjoy. It is a memoir about a college girl, Melissa, that found out her next door neighbor (a normal girl) was a dominatrix in a dungeon in midtown Manhattan and she decided to pursuit this same profession herself. 

I wanted to read about the clients and the things that they were into even though I knew I would not find all of the fetishes alluring. Golden Showers are not for everyone. 

Unfortunately, I did not enjoy the book. I could not keep readying about Melissa's whining on how she is special and different and not like other girls her age. I do not appreciate chapter after chapter of whining. There is only so much I could take. 

I did not finish the book, which is rare for me.

All in all, I wish this book could have been better.
