Pixi - Lip & Line Primer

I was very excited to try this liner because to get a perfect red lip it is crucial to line outside of the lip line with a skin-toned liner. 

Freeman Body Wash in Cucumber, Melon & Ginseng

I love getting body wash samples because they are perfect to take with you for traveling. 

Pop Nail Glam in Black Crackle

I am excited to try this polish and see how it performs.

Stila Eye Shadow in Sajama

This is a great soft gray color which has the amazing quality of all Stila eye shadows. I will enjoy using this as my crease shade.

York Lip Balm

I do like York Peppermint Patties but I do not like this lip balm. The square shape is awkward to use and the quality of the lip balm is sub par.

Irina Likes - MakeUp -

I decided to get the Urban Decay Vegan Palette when it was on sale on Hautelook.

It comes with a mini sized Eyeshadow Primer Potion in Sin. This is a creamy, shimmery beige primer that melts into the skin. I don't like it as much as my other primers because it tends to leave my eyelids a bit too oily.

Like all Urban Decay Palettes the packing is fun and this one has many animals on it. 

Top Row: Minx, Urb, Gunmetal

Bottom Row: Twice Baked, Smog, Half Baked

The palette also includes the 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil in Zero. This is a great pencil that glides on the eyelid and this color is a rich, deep black. 

Left to Right: Minx, Urb, Gunmetal, Twice Baked, Smog, Half Baked

I like to use Minx and Twice Baked as liners, Gunmetal and Smog as crease shades, and Half Baked and Urb as all over lid colors. 

Overall this palette has introduced some new fun colors to my current makeup collection. I enjoy the quality of these shadows and I enjoy the eye liner that came with this palette.

Irina Likes - Baby Plants -

I get very excited when I see that my plants have a baby plant in their pot. 

After a few weeks I will depot the plant into its own container. I am able to find cheap, small containers at the Dollar Tree and Target. Then I hope and pray that it takes and thrives in its new pot. 

These are my lastest baby plants and I am excited to see them grow up.

There is something so gratifying about finishing up beauty products.

These are the ones I have finished:

Softsoap - Juicy Pomegranate and Mango Infusions Body Wash

I love when the Softsoap Body Washes go on sale at CVS so that I can stock up. They have some great scents and this is one of my favorite ones. My Hubby also likes it so it tends to get stolen out of my bathroom.

Yes To Blueberries - Makeup Removing Facial Wipes

I did not like this product. It barely removed my makeup and the scent was appalling to me. I know many people like this product but it does not work for me. I  will not be repurchasing this product. 

Juice Beauty - Blemish Clearing Cleanser

This was an amazing cleanser that I was able to sample from Birchbox. It made my skin feel very soft and clean and moisturized. I don't know if it helps with blemishes because I did not have any at the time that I was using this but I would still recommend this cleanser. I like the Juice Beauty brand over-all because it is organic and uses ingredients that I can pronounce. This cleanser contains extracts of dandelion leaf, lemon balm leaf and sage leaf. 

Nivea - Extended Moisture Lotion

This seemed like a regular lotion. It did not extend the moisture of my elbows or knees. For all of its claims, I feel like it does not live up to the hype.

Up & Up - Makeup Remover Wipes

This brand is the Target store brand and they have some great items. These wipes are good but not great. They take off most of my makeup and are not too harsh on my skin but not my favorite wipes.

Irina Likes - Halloween Part 2 -

This weekend I decided to give my bathrooms a festive feel for Halloween. My inspiration was this picture below.

Halloween Craft Ideas from One Charming Party

I decided to make a toilet paper pumpkin for each bathroom. I used orange tissue paper, green tissue paper, twigs, leaves, and black construction paper.

It looks very cute and festive in my bathroom. Also this allows guests to not have to scramble around trying to find an extra roll if they need it. 

How are you decorating for Halloween?

Irina Likes - Wild Flowers -

I must thank Goliath who was super patient on our walk through the park when I decided to stop every few feet and pick up small wild flowers. They are beautiful and vibrant. I was able to find white, yellow, and pinkish-lavender flowers.

Due to their small size I knew a regular vase was out of the question. Instead I put them in this glass milk/cream container that comes in a set with a sugar holder. I love its tiny size and it made the perfect impromptu vase for my flowers.

Asi Se Baila Il Tango - Veronica Verdier

This is from the movie Take the Lead. The song actually starts at the 10 second mark. This was a great dance movie and Antonio Banderas was wonderful as a ballroom teacher. 

Assassin's Tango - John Powell

This is from the movie Mr. & Mrs. Smith. This is a very classic tango and I loved the dance sequence with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.

Tango - Roxanne

This is from the movie Moulin Rouge. This is a great instrumental version of the song. Seductive and fast paced.

This week was a Manicure & Pedicure week so I wanted to go for a classic red that was vibrant.

Duri # 589 - Undisclosed Desires

This is a true neutral red. It does not have a blue or orange base. It is right in the middle and very classic. Its a bit sheer in its first coat but with two coats it is almost true to the bottle color. I believe this is from Duri's fall line for this year. 

I also included two more colors from Duri's fall line which my friend Alyona is modeling on her hands this week.

Duri # 536 - Celebrity Scandal.

The two colors together give a very Tiffany box feel to this manicure.

Classic Sloppy Joe

I love when the Hubby and I have our Sloppy Joe Nights. This is the perfect comfort food for those chilly days and nights. I did not make this. This amazing dish was made exclusively by the Hubby. He is a much better cook than I am and I love when he gets behind the stove.

I decided to show you the extent of my love of cute cows things and do it as a series.

So I present to you Cows Part 2.

My mother found this adorable cow note holder. It is multi-colored and small enough to not make my desk look cluttered. 

I love putting gorgeous cards or sweet notes on it. 

This is just a little something that makes my day whenever I look at it.

Irina Likes - TJ Maxx Haul -

The great thing about stores like TJ Maxx and Marshals or the soon to be closed everywhere Daffys is that you never know what you may find there. 

I was pleasantly surprised to find The Body Shop Body Butters in my TJ Maxx.

I picked up the Blueberry Body Butter. I have never smelled the scent before so it was a gamble but it was a gamble that did pay off. The scent is subtle but sweet. I can't wait to start to use it before bed. I enjoy using body butters before bed because they have the most uninterrupted chance to work their magic while I get my beauty rest. For those of you that know me know that I love to sleep a lot. 

I also picked up English Tea Shop Iced Tea in Pomegranate Blueberry. I have been enjoying making unsweetened ice tea at home to drink with my meals. Its a great substitute when you want a flavored drink but it has no calories and all the benefits of tea.

Lucia Micarelli - Lady Grinning Soul

This is a great song with many classical touches. It seems like a song that needs to go into a movie soundtrack. Parts are dramatic and others are seductive. 

Lucia Micarelli is an amazing violinist that has captured my ear.

Irina Likes - Halloween -

As the weather is getting colder and September is coming to an end I start to think about Halloween.

While browsing in Target, I spotted these cute lime green tea towels that have a ghost on them.

Although lime green isn't exactly a fall color I could not pass these up. I like to decorate for the holiday in little ways instead of decorating the whole house. 

The tea towels have already been put in there designated areas. One on the oven rail and one right below my sink. They brighten up the room with their color and give a festive feel.
